Hendrik Czakainski (*1979 in Aurich) lives and works in Berlin. He is a contemporary artist known for creating large-scale wall sculptures and installations using materials such as wood, Chromolux paper, metal powders, and cardboard. From 2005 to 2007, he assisted artists Markus Draper and Wolfgang Flad. Since 2013, Czakainski has been teaching design, presentation, and architecture at the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin. His works have been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions. Czakainski creates sculptures that capture the particles and structures of our urban and industrial world, forming imaginary constructions shaped by the invisible, toxic flows coursing through them. These pieces reflect urban environments marked by destruction and conflict.
