We warmly invite you to paper positions. vienna, where we will present works from Ida-Marie Corell’s series Veni Vidi Venus—an interdisciplinary art project centered on the Venus of Willendorf.
On view is a compendium of works published in the graphic novel of the same name—a humorous yet probing engagement with the famed prehistoric artefact.

In her artistic research, Corell lets the Venus of Willendorf speak in her own voice—opening a dialogue between past and present, art and viewer.
Her collages, drawings, and texts unfold a feminist mythology of knowledge, interweaving themes such as witch hunts, herstory, and cyclical intelligences.
