In collaboration with R-Gallery, Sliema, Malta, AOA;87 presents Mika Natri, MARCK and Henrik Abedian in the group exhibition FAR REACH. FAR REACH is a swirling act that creates a world of its own – rooted in a desire to achieve, like a beacon that stands out from the world around it, yet is deeply interwoven with it. In all, 39 artist:s show works to represent, provoke, and resist a world pulsating with contradictions and complexities that are difficult to define and contain. In this conviction, the works and the material merge with the meta and physical, without boundaries, to create worlds that are alternatively all-encompassing, enveloping and far-reaching.
The MaHalla offers a typical Berlin ambience in a disused, listed three-phase power station in the middle of a historic industrial area southeast of the city center in Oberschöneweide and today serves as a cultural space for art, music and film.
